With over 17 years of experience, the Latino Alzheimer’s and Memory Disorders Alliance (LAMDA) has engaged with more than 13,400 individuals in over 20 communities across the US. We have developed a Community Health Workers (CHWs) Curriculum and Evaluation Tools, which have been approved by the Administration for Community Living. This program aims to enhance health outcomes for underrepresented populations. Our CHWs are vital in connecting healthcare professionals with these communities, contributing to our success.
Our professionals, CHWs, leverage their experience and established contacts to effectively adapt to the needs of community members, including family caregivers, partners, and collaborators.
